The Royal Baby is born !

And it’s a boy named George Alexander Louis! Of course, we couldn’t miss this event! He was so much expected that everybody felt concerned. Even the brands played the game and they didn’t hesitate to show some originality… and a lot of humour!

In fact, from the announcement of his birth, the Royal Baby was the object of numerous advertisements parodies massively via the social networks. See by yourself on Facebook:

evian: Je vais réveiller la palais royal !!

It’s necessary to say that this Royal Baby represents a lot for the British monarchy. Indeed, he symbolizes at the same time the hope, the revival but also the future of the country! A heavy weight on his fragile shoulders…

Kate & WIlliam engagement photos

So symbolic that we could think there is a huge tied up communication strategy behind this well organized direction. This is true! Since the beginning, the love story between Kate and Prince William seems to be a « real » fairy tale. Don’t you think so? It’s very difficult for me to say this kind of thing (because I love them, they are so cute !!), but I have to face the reality, there are some signs which don’t deceive…

First of all, Diana‘s death was a shock for the whole world, but especially for the British. And the fact that British people were very attached to her has for consequence today that Prince William is very estimated. People feel a certain empathy to him and can only be delighted at the hapiness he lives with Kate today.

Also, Kate comes from a middle class family, she looks like Diana. She is simple, natural, smiling and doesn’t raise any problem. In some words, the ideal candidate! Unless she was trained to be what she is today… Who knows?

Kate & William wedding

Furthermore, their story seems to have been a little staged: a love at first sight between students, then a sudden break, to finish by a wonderful marriage… We would have been able to expect it, no?

And finally, as to close a real fairy tale, a baby! What could have been more beautiful than the birth of a new small king to illuminate this ageing monarchy?

Well, we could believe that all this is due at random, that the British monarchy lets its two young turtledoves manage their love story on their own… Personally, I’ve have some difficulty in believing it because, when we look closer these last four days, we realize that everything is very well mastered by the monarchy.

Indeed, take a look at Kate entrance to the maternity on monday morning: nobody saw her. Why? Because nobody knew it. In fact, the monarchy communication team protected the secret till the end. It means that the monarchy manages all the Royal Family movements to preserve on the one hand the family intimacy, on the other hand the communication made in the media.

Then, there is also the Royal Couple exit with their baby… Certainly, they seemed to be much more relaxed than their parents for Prince William birth. But finally, we saw almost the same thing, even Kate‘s dress strangely looked like Diana‘s one the same day… Pure coincidence? I don’t know.

But to finish on a more positive and less settled note, I have to admit that I found them very radiant and happy to welcome this little boy, George Alexander Louis.

And you, what do you think about the British monarchy? Do you think it’s always usefull? Do you like Royal Baby first name? Did you bet on it? Let me know your opinion!
